Flourish Worldwide, an organization for Christian spiritual growth, is offering a day away at Vineyard Community Church. Join Bill McKay and others to draw away for a few hours to ponder the mysteries and beauty of the Lenten Season. Whether you have engaged with Lent all your life or it is a new spiritual practice for you, you will find renewal and connection as you connect with Jesus.  Our theme will be “Better Late than Never: Finding Your Lenten Discipline.”

• This event is open to the broader community and anyone at VCC is also invited.
• Lunch will be provided.
• This event typically costs $25, but for VCC members, Flourish has discounted the price to $15. Registration is required.

The event will start with a short teaching time by Bill McKay, M.Div. and Spiritual Director, on spiritual disciplines including prayer and fasting. The teaching will be followed by break-out discussion groups. The Day Away will offer group spiritual practices and several optional individual choices. These include an indoor prayer labyrinth, Faithbooking, quiet time to read and sit with God, spiritual worksheets such as a life compass and more! Lent begins on Feb. 18th, but you won’t be too late to engage with this season of renewal.
