Lynn and Jeff first came to VCC in 2001 after being consistently invited by a friend. When they finally tried it out, it felt like home. Lynn loves to try new things: "You never know what kinds of things you will really enjoy until after you try them." As such, she has many interests. She loves going to the zoo, reading, roller skating (4 wheels only!), traveling (although she doesn't have much opportunity for that since she's married to a homebody!) and ice cream. She's even been skydiving once!

For the nearly 21 years she's been a part of VCC she was ALWAYS in children's ministry. She's passionate about VCC's youngest and feels if you give them a positive experience and plant that initial seed of God's love, no matter what else happens in life, that seed will sprout.

During Covid, God flipped that ministry upside down. After a whole year of making videos for the kiddos to watch online, God told her, "It is good. You are done." Then He sent her WAY outside of her comfort zone and placed her into Ladies Ministry. She is growing in her love for the women of the church and as a leader. She has most recently lead a small group going to through the book "Healing Out Loud" and a Bible Study Series by Jo Saxton, "The Dream of You."
