Tanya and her husband Doug started attending VCC in 2008. They were drawn to the church for its authentic community that prioritizes moving people to Jesus, not to specific doctrinal points. They also felt VCC's emphasis on the children's program was significant, incorporating children into all of church life. One fun fact about Tanya is that she is a morning person; she wakes up happy!

Tanya is passionate about sharing the peace and joy of Christ through hospitality. She and Doug love to host parties. She finds she learns more about God in conversation and life with other people. Tanya has hosted small groups at VCC including a Gospel+Poor group. She hosts Newcomer Desserts and serves on the announcements team. Tanya also helps in our Elementary Classrooms on Sundays.
