Compassion and Justice
The Vineyard Community Church Compassion & Justice Ministries aim to build and focus on relationships rather than problem solving. We want to see and interact with people the way Jesus did in the gospels, such as Jesus' disciples, Zacchaeus, the Samaritan woman at the well, and Levi.

Areas of Focus
Oasis International - Good Neighbor Initiative
The Oasis International Good Neighbor Initiative is about building friendships and demonstrating love to refugees who are settling in the St Louis area. Less than 10% of refugees will ever be befriended by an American. Oasis International has assisted over 4,000 people from 15 different countries.
VCC volunteers will be befriending refugees (individuals or families) to build a lasting and loving friendship with them. We will help them get to know the St Louis area, through regular visits, and give them a safe outlet as they acclimate to a new place.
Waymakers - Chapel for the Exceptional
Waymakers is a ministry dedicated to supporting the needs of people with disabilities and their families.
Waymakers offers a Sunday morning service, a soup kitchen, food pantry, and free store to serve their members as well as the Gravois Park neighborhood of St Louis.
The Global Village Project (TGVP) - Student Sponsorship
The Global Village Project is a nonprofit organization which exists to further education around the world.
VCC members sponsor students to support the La Viña School in Bluefields, Nicaragua. We also help with Pastoral training, and our children's ministry will be holding skype sessions with the La Viña Church Sunday School.
Rongai Vineyard
Since 2021 VCC has ben partnering with the Rongai Vineyard in Kenya to provide resources for member and pastoral support.
